| Central Region |
| Windhoek, the capital city of
Namibia, serves as the starting point of most tours. We welcome
all our guests at the Hosea Kutako International Airport which
is about 40 km east of Windhoek. |
| |
Windhoek with its 250 000 people
has a African-European atmosphere, because of its history of
German colonialism with many buildings of that time still in
tact and many German speaking citizens living here, different
styles, different cultures, cuisine, clothing, colour, and languages.
Windhoek offers a wide variety of art, music, culture, restaurants,
shops, and accommodation in- and outside of town. It is well
worth staying in Windhoek for a few days. |

| To the west of Windhoek lies the
Khomas Hochland mountain range, in the south we have the Auas
mountains, and to the east and north are the Eros mountains.
Driving north towards the Etosha National
Park, you will find the Waterberg and the Okonjima
Africat Foundation. These are just a few of the visiting options
to choose from in the central region and there are many others. |
