| NAMIBIA:
paradise of contrast! In this country you will find the famous
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK where you can
see the largest variety of |
 |
|
 |
| animals drinking at the different
waterholes. There is the DAMARALAND
with its interesting Fauna and the home of the desert elephant
and the almost extinct white rhino. |
| |
| Be in awe of the immense landscapes
and harsh nature of the KAOKOVELD in
the northwest, where the Ovahimbas live and then visit its complete
opposite, the green CAPRIVI STRIP
in the northeast. This area has one of the richest populations
of elephants in Southern Africa and there is also no shortage
in the number of the other species. To the east of the country
and bordering Botswana, lies the KHAUDOM GAME RESERVE and also
the BUSHMANLAND, home of the
Bushmen (SAN). Situated in the South of Namibia is the FISH
RIVER CANYON, the second largest canyon in the world. Then,
of course, there is the hot, forsaken NAMIB DESERT, with the
highest and most colourful dunes of the world, the COASTLINE
with its relaxed holiday resorts and the desolate SKELETON COAST
PARK, famous for its dazzling, untouched environment. |
